Hi! My name is Matt Taylor, and I, along with the support of my awesome wife Taylor Taylor, serve as the Children's Pastor of Christ Chapel Dublin. Children are of the most precious gifts given to us by God. Being a parent to my son, Everett, and being a fifth grade teacher, serving children will always hold a special place in my heart. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve children in the classroom for eight years, five spent at Susie Dasher Elementary and three spent at Southwest Laurens Elementary. Teaching and working with children is something I have always had a passion for, and I strive every day to set an example for the children under my care to follow.
God has blessed me with the opportunity to use my talent and gift of teaching from Him above as the Children's Pastor at Christ Chapel. I always look forward to the opportunity to help our children learn God's word, share and experience His love, and to seek His kingdom over worldly distractions. I can already feel God's presence and a raising up of a generation that is willing to take a stand, believe in the Holy Spirit, and experience Him move like never before. God is going to show up and show out here at Christ Chapel and in our community in a big way, and I am both humbled and honored to be a part of such a special journey.
Our 2020 Vision comes from Matthew 5:16 which states, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." The children of Christ Chapel Dublin are striving to be a L.A.M.P. for those around them. We are striving to LOVE like Christ loves us, to ALWAYS see the good in people and situations, to MAKE an effort to talk to others about Jesus, and to PRAY consistently. May God richly bless you and your family as we all strive to be a light that brightens the darkness around us.
